Very good and accurate review of this movie. I just saw it before you posted this review. I wasn't able to watch it fully though, because we saw it at the drive-in and I'm not sure I'm going back there again. This is like the 3rd time that halfway thru the movie, the video or sound gets jacked up and I have to miss part of the movie in order to alert the moron's running the projectors! I give the acting a 9/10, except for Ryan Gosling. I've never been a fan of his really, but he did act better in this than Fracture, which I thought he was terrible in. I heard your comparison of him to Brad Pitt & almost spit up the water I was drinking! This guy will never been anywhere near as good as Brad Pitt! FIGHT CLUB FOREVER! But Hoffman, Pig Vomit..I mean Giamatti (Private Parts reference), Wood & Clooney were all great as always! I probably won't refer this movie to people much because of it's political context but I would give it a 7.5/10 rating.

It sucks that a bad experience at the theater can ruin a decent movie. I guess there is a reason why Drive-Ins went the way of the dinosaur, but there is something good to be said about trying to keep that experience alive. Which current actor would you say Gosling is in line to replace? The next _______. [Fill in the blank]. Thanks for listening and commenting. See ya around. Cheers!
