FREE Song of the Day: DJ Stunna - "Strange Behavior"

DJ Stunna

Strange Behavior

Bringing you the absolute best in Drum N Bass once again, is the one and only DJ Stunna... and yours truly, of course. We found this one hidden away while doing some PC Spring cleaning. He gave us access to it a while back when he last graced us with his presence, but we somehow left it alone and forgot about it. Now we're giving it to you. It is somewhat of a "secret stash", if you will... very fitting for our favorite holiday, 4/20. Unlike 420 however, this track is more upbeat and not-so-much laid back, but still relaxing. This one starts off quick and never lets up. With his trademark jazzy sound and subtle keyboard rifts, this will be one to remember. Get it? And if you don't, you can always come right back here and download it for FREE. [Bookmark us, just in case ;)] Cheers! Enjoy.

Free Song of the Day: DJ Aaron Bond - "Move Forward EP"

Aaron Bond

Move Forward EP

Bringing another new name into the fold; FORCE presents Aaron Bond [ FEN Entertainment ]. After a short string of wildly sought after bootleg remixes and his "Fireworks" release on Urban Chemistry, Bond comes to FORCE with a 4 track EP of genius simplicity in the vein of Blame and Moving Shadow's uplifting, but danceable late 90's styles. Two "Amen" tracks including the EP namesake "Move Forward", and current Bassdrive DJs favorite "Default Error", even out the synth-heavy steppers "Foreign Shapes" & "Flux Capacitor", that comprise the middle run of this release. Aaron Bond is a name to watch, and another in what is becoming a very long list of stunning American DnB producers! Press play to listen here for FREE, then click the button to buy! Thanks for your support. Enjoy!

Aaron Bond & Electron C

Quantum Entanglement

When two of the genre's best from Florida come together to produce a tune, you can bet you'll be in store for some fresh, soulful Drum & Bass. This liquid track offers up a mesmerizing piano line with a warm, deep bass line that catches a hook in the back of your mind, and generates a wistful pleasant vibe. Electron C has been making music for 18 years and DJing for over 10. He has been a close friend of ours for quite some time and has been working with our very own Aaron Bond on some killer tunes as of late. They have offered this one up for this weekend's listening pleasure. Press play. Enjoy.

FREE Song of the Day: Die Antwoord - "Enter The Ninja" [ Official ]

We came across this delightfully strange video through a friend of the site. We've also seen them featured on G4. This one piqued our interest right away. Whether a parody or a serious display of wacky skill, this track is so catchy and well produced, and the video so funny, we just had to post it for you all. We hope you can shed some light on the background of these folks. Leave comments to enlighten us. We can't ALWAYS do all the work, ya know. Oh yeah... NSFW. Press play. Enjoy.

FREE Song of the Day: The Shoreline - "I Gotta Feeling" [ BEP Cover ]

The Shoreline

I Gotta Feeling [BEP Cover]

We've been following this band for quite some time now. They have resurfaced lately to heavily promote their new, upcoming album, "Fake It 'Til You Make It", being released 27 February 2010. You can purchase tickets for their CD release show here. And if you buy a pre-sale ticket, you'll get the new album for FREE. We could give you a small run-down of their accolades, but we think Dino Lull from MetroSpirit summed it up nicely already:

"Similar to such successful Emo bands as Fall Out Boy and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Warped Tour guests, The Shoreline, mix the soft emotions so common in the genre, with thumping drums and knock-out guitars that have launched recent bands into stardom. The Shoreline’s chances are just as good."

FREE Song of the Day: Aaron Bond - "Face the Truth"

Aaron Bond

Face the Truth

We try to release tracks that are relevant to our mood at the time... And right now, nothing could be more relevant than standing in the shadow of some major decisions. When faced with important, possibly life altering decisions, it is safe to say that most of us want to try waiting until things simply 'work themselves out', but reality dictates we face our truths head on and tackle the choices at hand. Just like this track hitting us when it did, choices are all about timing. But when what is given to you, leaves you without time, we have no choice but to "Face the Truth". Running time is 7m:08s @ 175 BPM. Press play. Enjoy!

Kina Grannis - "Valentine"

If you've followed us for some time, you're well aware that we absolutely love this adorable musician. Kina Grannis walked into our hearts via Digg.com, when Gotta Digg was put up as a video on YouTube. The diggs poured in and she became an instant success, both on the net, and with us. After winning a Super Bowl contest for Message From Your Heart, she gained the much deserved attention her talent would bring her.

"Valentine" is the new video from Ross Ching. We think his stop-motion style is fitting for this track. You can view a short video explaining his technique, see behind-the-scenes pics, and read more about his technique here. Beyond those reasons, it's obvious as to why we chose this tune for today's special Valentine's Day edition of our FSotD! Press play. Share and Enjoy!
