We've been following this duo since their debut track on Indaba Music was put up for a remix contest. FEN Entertainment's Aaron Bond took part. You can download his dNb version of the track here.
Since the debut, we've received updates via newsletters, Indaba blogs, and Twitter, that this track has been blowing up from Europe, Canada, and also here in the U.S.! We'd like to think that we had at least a little something to do with that popularity. So much so, that we have posted this video as proof, that beyond the corrupted radio airwaves, not just anyone with a song can make it these days. It requires enough work, networking, dedication and actual SKILLS to do so. Keep up the great work, ladies! Enjoy and share!

Atomic Skunk
Forest for the Trees
San Francisco Bay Area based electronic musician, Rich Brodsky a.k.a. Atomic Skunk, weaves together ambient field recordings, lush pads, and organic acoustic instruments with high-tech arpeggiated synths, glitchy, chaotic rhythms, and haunting melodies to create a unique psychedelic ambient soundscape.
In 2008, Rich began composing and recording his own ambient electronic music, using an amazing piece of software called Ableton Live. Live's non-linear approach to music composition opened up a world of creative possibilities that led to the first Atomic Skunk creations. In early 2009, Rich released his first eight compositions as Atomic Skunk for his debut album, 'Binary Scenes'. "Forest..." is a pre-release track from his new album, "Portal". Press Play. Enjoy. Share.

Changing Fate
Listening to this track makes us wish we were on a beach somewhere, drinking our beverage of choice, and chillin' with our closest friends. It is so laid back, we feel it represents the weekend you should all have, or be having, at this exact point in time. The hip-hop nuance, mixed with remnants of Acid Jazz, makes for a perfect descent from your week's activities. Take the time to pour yourself a cold one, or two... or three and listen to yet another gift from our heaviest hitter, but in this case he hits heavy with kindness. Press play, download, share, and enjoy!
"I've grown up with him on TV. He's made me laugh when times were dismal and dark, allowing me to see that, even in the face of suicide, there will always be another bright side or silver lining. I'm not one for celebrity, but Mr. O'Brien is an icon in my eyes. This is the least I can do to express my admiration for this TV great. It's a travesty what NBC and their executives are doing to this man. Please show your support by leaving comments. I wish Conan well with his future endeavors, and know wholeheartedly, that he will rise victorious from the Late Night ashes and rise again as the undisputed King of television talk. Godspeed, noble sir. Godspeed!"
Thanks to all the Orlando fam that made this night possible. This show was epic! Leave comments to let us know about your crazy NYE experiences. Special thanks to Aaron Bond, Brad Lee Ray, and introducing new FEN artist, McCarron Best. Big things are coming in 2010! Thanks for kicking it off proper with us. Stay tuned for Part 2, coming soon!
Born in 1977, Jaybee was raised listening to funk, soul, and other even more eclectic, yet deep styles. Jaybee's father was a huge fan of famous drummer Buddy Rich. It was the collection of Buddy Rich vinyl that began the long drum trip that Jaybee still rides today. Originating in spinning Hip Hop, he began his whirlwind within Jungle Drum N Bass in 1988. He is now widely respected in multiple forms of music and shows every sign of climbing higher and higher with each new performance and vinyl release. Special thanks to Jaybee for submitting this tune!
